The International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) has a program
supported by a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation whose purpose is to support high-quality analysis of agricultural
trade issues. The program provides developing country researchers
working on agricultural trade issues an opportunity to increase
their analytical capacity and broaden their research networks. In
this three-year program, researchers remain in their home
institutions and receive a small research allowance, as well as
funding to participate in IATRC’s two meetings each year. Each
fellow has been matched with a mentor from the IATRC membership, who
provides guidance and support for the fellow’s research program.
In the fall of 2006, the following fellows were selected
from a pool of applications from over twenty countries. For details
and a brief description of their research program, click on each
name listed below.
The program is administered by Linda Young.
