Capacity Building Program
in Agricultural Trade Policy


 

       
The International Agricultural Trade Research Consortium (IATRC) has a program supported by a grant from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation whose purpose is to support high-quality analysis of agricultural trade issues. The program provides developing country researchers working on agricultural trade issues an opportunity to increase their analytical capacity and broaden their research networks. In this three-year program, researchers remain in their home institutions and receive a small research allowance, as well as funding to participate in IATRC’s two meetings each year. Each fellow has been matched with a mentor from the IATRC membership, who provides guidance and support for the fellow’s research program.

In the fall of 2006, the following fellows were selected from a pool of applications from over twenty countries. For details and a brief description of their research program, click on each name listed below.
